‘Learning to live, loving to learn’
At Penwortham Broad Oak we nurture today’s minds for tomorrow’s challenges. Working together we ensure every child has the potential to shine. Together we Challenge – Aspire – Nurture.
Our experienced staff offer our children a quality education, which is broad and balanced. Our horizons are wider than the classroom, using our extensive outside environment, Forest School, Science Garden, off site trips, partner schools and residential experiences, to open our children’s eyes. The strengths of our staff are utilised to teach specialist subjects including French, Music, Art , Computing and P.E. We go above and beyond to support children and their families in the close- knit community that is Broad Oak.
As future educators, you are offered the opportunity to learn with us in a diverse, warm and welcoming environment. We have strong links with other agencies and have a widely recognised and outstanding pastoral team. In your Practice, you will be supported by experienced subject leaders, across the primary curriculum. Our well-noted successes, over many years, have been in supporting apprentices and both teaching and teaching assistant students. Students bring a fresh perspective to school, which we welcome with open arms. Come and train with us to get a true feel of what it is like to be good teacher. Come and work with our amazing team who will show you the way. Come and learn with our fantastic teachers and let them show you why we think teaching is the best job in the world.
